CMG LA presents . . .
Yoga & Meditation Group

Are you overwhelmed and exhausted? Are you constantly worried? Do you find it hard to calm your mind? And don’t seem to use your nose to breathe, guess what, you came to the right group!

You are not alone...

Did you know that 80-90% of doctor's visits are stress related? Stress can cause emotional and physical symptoms such as sleep disturbance, fatigue, trouble thinking clearly, digestive problems, anxiety, depression and high blood pressure. But the latest research has proven that mindfulness training along with yoga and exercise can dramatically improve these problems, all of which hamper our ability to lead a healthy and joyful existence.

Yogi Rich will be facilitating this basic 60 minute monthly CMG LA Yoga & Meditation group.  Learn key mindfulness practices that can increase your stress tolerance, and how to incorporate them into your daily life. Learn how to tame your mind, regulate your mood, and open the heart to become more accepting, calmer, friendlier, happier and everlasting peacefulness inside  with your continued practice.

WHAT TO BRING: Yoga attire, work out clothes, soft & stretchy preferred, A Yoga Mat/blanketEye BandYoga Blocks or Strap if you have them. Please note: this is a room with LINOLEUM FLOORS on CEMENT SLAB. You really want to have some kind of buffer between you and it. Yoga is more physical than it otherwise might seem. Try to not to eat heavy food before the class, but liquids are ok, like smoothies. Please be aware, this is not a workout class, but an opportunity for you to practice mind & body connection! We will learn & make this fun together!

Our Facilitator:  Richard Ahwah, aka Yogi Rich, is a Certified Yoga Teacher, Meditation Instructor and Yoga Therapist CYT 300 YTRx Program @ LMU University.  He has a private practice and works with groups and private individuals who are open to yoga philosophy.  Richard studied yoga and meditation in India and Los Angeles with some big name teachers.
