CMG Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk

In signing this form , I understand and agree to the following:

1.       Regarding CMG rules:

a.       I will abide by all rules of this CMG (California Men's Gatherings) event.

b.      I understand that not abiding by the rules or spirit of the event can be cause for my being asked to leave and/or not being welcomed at future events.

2.       Regarding alcohol:

a.       If alcohol is permitted at this event (which it may or may not be) and I choose to partake in any, I will be responsible for my own actions and behavior.  I will not drink and then drive while under the influence.

3.       Regarding COVID-19, I will not enter the property:

a.       Unless I have completed my course of immunization more than two weeks prior to the event.

b.      If I have knowingly been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID in the last 14 days

c.       If I have been experiencing symptoms known for COVID in immunized people in the last 14 days

d.      If I have travelled to an area in the last 10 days known for being at high risk

e.       Additionally, I understand that any gathering at this time includes some risk of exposure to COVID-19 and, should I test positive and/or get ill, I will not hold CMG, its leaders, or the property owner responsible for my choice to attend.

4.       Regarding injury and/or property damage:

a.       California Men's Gatherings and the owner of the property where this event takes place are responsible for neither my physical well being nor my personal property.

b.      There are risks of injury associated with any event, and that I am assuming all such risks. I understand that in order to participate in the event, I give up my rights to hold CMG, its leaders, or the property owner liable for any injury or any damage to my property during an event.

c.       Should I cause any damage to the property, I am responsible for working with the property owner for fair compensation or replacement.

d.   Keeping it legal:  I understand that in order to participate in the event, I agree to hold harmless CMG and the property owner/host of any injury, or any damage to my personal property that may occur during an event. I recognize that social activities and pools involve dangerous and hazardous risks, including the risk of slipping, falling, or drowning, and I assume such risks voluntarily in exchange for the social benefits that I will gain from this group activity. I hereby agree not to make any claims or commence any lawsuits. With my signing of the signature page associated with this document, I do hereby voluntarily discharge CMG, its organizers, hosts, and property owners from any and all claims of personal injury, property damage, illness (COVID-19 or otherwise), or wrongful death occurring from this CMG event.

5.       I recognize this as a legal document which I have read and agree to by signing upon arriving at the event.
