UCSF Research Study (statewide)
Are you a black man 29 or younger who has had sex with another man, has used drugs and/or alcohol?  You have the opportunity to share your unique story.  Dr. Carol Dawson-Rose and CMGer Austin Nation, RN, PhD (c) from UCSF School of Nursing are doing a study to better understand substance use, sexual risk behavior, and HIV risk for young black men.  A better understanding of the role that substance use has in HIV risk helps health care providers develop better programs to protect such young men.   Interested in participating?  Call Austin (714) 401-6913.     6/2/15


Intergenerational Discussion Panel (Long Beach)
“How Ageism Effects Young and Old.”  Join us at The Center Long Beach for this Intergenerational Conversation Panel that opens the lines of communication between the generations in our LGBTQ community.  We'll discuss how ageism impacts both young and old as well as open a dialogue on how the word “OLD” impacts us as a community.  Panelist will include as many gender identities and sexual orientations as possible.  Audience participation is encouraged.  Light snacks and drinks will be provided.
